To start this topic I would like you to read this quote from "maxolino", found in TWG forum. Link to the topic will be at the end of this quote:

maxolino wrote:
The first thing to decide is whether your character is a good guy or a bad guy or something in between. Deciding this is very important for your character’s role, so give it some thought. Of course your character’s behavior can change over time, but not from good to bad and back to good in the time of three shows.

Next you should put some thought into your character’s looks, for example hair color, hair style, how tall is he (or she), is he rather fat or skinny, does he have any tattoos, does he wear short or long trousers etc. The more detailed information you give, the better everyone reading your texts can imagine the scene, and of course it makes your character unique. Another thing to consider is his personality: Is he the serious type of guy or rather playful, is he calm, discreet or does he get angry very easily?

Something very important (mostly for you) is his biography. Think about what your character experienced in his life, and why he got into wrestling, and even more important: Act like that in your role-plays! For example a kind-hearted character can suddenly loose it when something triggered a memory to one of his traumas. And a character that grew up in one of the worst surroundings on earth will never turn his back to someone he doesn’t know or trust.

Try to make your character unique and interesting. And don’t copy any real wrestler, because nothing is more boring than a roster full of guys who want to be Jeff Hardy (or any other superstar). And believe me, it’s much more fun playing a self-made character than something that isn’t you. Remember, there is no “wrong” or “right” in creating a character, only “interesting” and “I-already-saw-that-a-hundred-times”.

Now, after you decide which type of character you will be, its time for you to present yourself.

1) First of all, its the story that is important, your character unique story, made by you. The story is always important, but it doesn't matter if its short or long, there can by any types of wrestlers - Mysterious, famous, charismatic, ones with the trauma. Try keeping things real, but for fun stuff, you can add some awkward stuff, like, your character is actually an alien who have come from his home planet so he can wrestle earth's people. Its up to you how you will present him.

2) After you have introduced your characters past, you will need to write down his
   a)Appearance
   b)Attitude
c)Additional, important, details, like hair color, tattoos and e.c.t.

3) Your characters picture. Chose wisely, because the same picture will be put in the wrestlers card in the Federations show.

As an example you can look up to other people gimmicks. Just be warned, you are not allowed to copy or use other character names in your gimmick from this federation, unless the same person whose name is in, agrees.

Best of luck with creation of your gimmick and have fun roleplaying. Welcome to Out Break Wrestling federation.

Best regards,
Pain

Name:
This is your character's name. Try not to stray too far from your 'TheWrestlingGame' name, as it would look weird in matches then.

From:
Your character's birthplace. This can be a specific city, or a broad country. Heck, you can even choose a place that doesn't exist in the real world.

Allies:
Any allies that your character has. This could be an actual player or a non-playable character, too. Remember to keep this updated as you gain more allies!

Enemies:
Any enemies that your character has. This could be an actual player or a non-playable character, too. Remember to keep this updated as you gain more enemies!

Age:
Your character's age. Simple as that. In years, by the way.

Height:
Your character's height, in feet and inches.

Weight:
Your character's weight, in pounds.

Alignment:
Alignment is whether your character is evil, good, or neutral. In the world of wrestling, this is referred to as a face, a heel or a tweener, respectively. You can simply choose one or you can go into more descriptive detail listing how your character would react to certain situations or what not.

Appearance:
How your character looks. Try to be quite descriptive. You may provide a picture for a visual, if you prefer to do so.

History:
Your character's history. How did he end up here in Next Stop Wrestling? What inspired him to become a wrestler? Describe past events which led up to the present time.
